Midori-ku, Saitama
Midori-ku is a ward in the south-east of Saitama City. On its west side is Higashi-Urawa station on the JR Musashino Line, which connects with the Keihin-Tohoku Line at Minami-Urawa and the Saikyo Line at Musashi-Urawa.
The ward takes in the Minuma rice-field greenbelt (Minuma Tanbo), and along the Minuma irrigation canal are historic sites such as the Minuma Tsusenbori canal locks.
On the east side of the ward is Urawa-Misono station on the Saitama Rapid Railway, which has its own area guide.
